Nina and Jason: A Romantic December Wedding

City of Nouns: Julie Walton Shaver Lifestyle Photography Nina056 Nina and Jason: A Romantic December WeddingMy husband, Mike, shot this wedding, so the pictures you see here are not mine, but since we work together, and since he doesn’t have a blog of his own, I thought I’d post some pictures for Nina and Jason. I love every single one of the “first dance” shots. The light was perfect!

City of Nouns: Julie Walton Shaver Lifestyle Photography Nina007 Nina and Jason: A Romantic December Wedding Nina and Jason were married on December 3. Jason is the brother of Mike’s good friend, Sydney. Mike and Sydney became friends when they were in the Air National Guard together several years ago. I used to always hear stories about Sydney. Several years’ worth of stories went by before I realized that Sydney is a WOMAN. If I remember correctly, this fact came to my attention when Mike showed me a picture of the “guys” in his crew, you know, in their fatigues. “Who’s the little guy?” I remember saying. So, while I, of course, thought Sydney was cute in those fatigues (isn’t everybody cute in fatigues?), I never realized how HOT she is until Mike came home with these wedding pictures!

YOWSA!

Sydney and her twin sister (blue dress) nearly stole the show — they are both GORGEOUS — but it would be impossible for anyone to steal the show from Nina. She’s stunning! What a beautiful couple she and Jason are!

Mike had mentioned to Sydney about my photography business, and she asked if I would be interested in shooting her brother’s wedding. But I was already booked for that day. So she asked Mike if he would shoot it. (He was a photographer for the Guard, so this is nothing new to him.) He said he would as long as I edited the shoot and made the slide show, which was fine by me.

Because as you all know, I LOVE making slide shows.

This one was no exception; their first-dance-song is perfect with their pictures.
Click here! You HAVE to see THIS one! So romantic.

P.S. I think Mike was just a little bit obsessed with the twin sister thing. See below:

I love you, Mike! ; ) You did a GREAT job photographing the wedding!

It has been a little more than 2 years since the wedding. Jason and I have been so busy with our lives I thought I accidentally deleted your email. I was going through my old emails, I found your website and found this blog so I’d like to say something. On that day, I remember, I was so in love, excited, it was so overwhelming, so busy, so many stuff on me!!!, that big gown, garter, not so comfortable high heals.etc. I just was glad nothing went wrong. Later on when I saw the pictures for the first time, I didn’t know what to say…Oh..my!! It was beautiful!! I love every single one of them. Mike you did such a fantastic job. Just want to let you know till now when I see my pictures, it always bring me smile, tear of joy and great memory. I’m really appreciated. Thank you Mike and Julie so very much for doing what you do to make every memories comes to life. Again Thanks!!!

Hi Jules, Are you sure you didn’t shoot this and are just giving Mike the credit, or does he pay you extra for you to say this stuff. I know I pay my wife Lovina extra to shoot images and give me the credit. LOL The images all over this blog are amazing!!!
