My Holiday Cards
Below, a few of my favorites:
Back
On the back of each card, I listed the family name and ages of the children, but blocked it out for the blog.
Back
In most cases, I “washed out” the photo on the back of the card so it wouldn’t compete with the image on the front.
The inside of ours spanned the entire inside of the card — a 7×10 picture! Cool! (I suggested they “Make faces like the statues!” Bradley’s typical 12-year-old reaction, the eye-roll, told a better story than any words could have.)
On the back, I listed the biggest family milestone for 2006: the fact that Bradley is taller than me now. Makes me want to tie a brick to his head (to keep him from growing), but alas, it’s too late. Not too late to tie one on Gregory’s head though! Watch out, Gregory!

Your card designs are the best I’ve ever seen Julie.
Merrrrrrry Christmas!
LOVE TO YOU!!!

Thanks for posting on my blog * GREAT card designs; very unique and classy! Who printed them and are they on card material or photo paper?

wow Julie, those are some very snazzy designs, I third the notion of selling them as templates, you could make some good money from other photographers!!! I would buy them for sure.

Thanks everybody! My initial inspiration came from itty bitty actions. But now I’m making my own cards straight in Photoshop, no templates, and printing on art linen paper through WHCC. The cards look fantastic and feel really rich in your hands. My clients seem to love them! Again, thanks everybody for the SO NICE comments!
