Emergency lane, New Jersey Turnpike, Dec. 9th: “Do you know how fast you were going?”
“No sir.”
“86. Do you know what the speed limit is here?”
“65.”
“No ma’am, it’s 55.”
(Ouch.)
“The speedometer’s numbers are all in the wrong place, officer. See, I’m driving a new car and the 80 number in this car is where the 60 number is in my old car and I guess I’m not used to it yet.”
“Tell it to the prosecutor.”
“Yes sir.”
County courthouse, Jan. 16: The prosecutor liked my photographs A LOT.

New car
Good thing the speed limit wasn’t 80!

Special thanks to Bill Cummings, Ron Davie, the members of the Evangelism and Nurture Commission, and all the members of the congregation of the First Presbyterian Church of Metuchen for supporting me in this project. I have learned so many wonderful things in the last year and a half! Enjoy!
