But I did learn through their engagement session questionnaire that they’ve been taking dance lessons. LOVE the dance moves!
I also love the evening light. Beautiful.
Jennifer’s other dog, Petey, was at a sleepover that day so we only got to shoot one of her dogs. Jennifer says Petey feels like an orphan since he’s not in the pictures. Little sibling rivalry here. Yikes!

Great photos of the happy couple. I am not sure who had more fun … the couple or the dog.
Well, I hope it is not an eye infection. It would be hard to take brilliant photos with an eye infection.

Julie, that is some sweet light! I especially love your use of light and shadows in the indoor shots.
I’m guessing you have a rash on your lower legs from kneeling in that poison ivy/oak (I don’t remember how to tell the difference). On the other hand, someone reported that Francis had stigmata. I hope you don’t have that affliction!

You guys are so funny! Love the references to St. Francis and stigmata. Gotta say I’d never even heard of that before today.
CD WINS the prize though. POISON IVY, you got it. My non-camera arm and legs, but it’s starting to go away already, so, phew. This is only the third time I’ve gotten poison ivy during a shoot. Anything to get “the shot,” right?

I am so sorry you got poison ivy! I feel responsible!! I was out walking Wiley today in it. He will only “go” in there *even once before I could stop him on St. Francis — I told him St. Francis didn’t like animals THAT MUCH!! ha ha
Thanks again for capturing Derek and I and our love beautifully. You really do work miracles — just like the saints….
