Ok, maybe “guess” is the wrong word. More like SLEUTHING is what is necessary here. Her name is not a typical name, and not even a typical word. So, how would a resourceful person go about finding out this cat’s name? Hmmm….

Now THAT’S using your noggin, Brad! A little phone call to the person holding the cat was a very smart tactic. Mr. Starfish says to tell you he is very proud of you, though he hopes Redness stays far away from his beach house.

So that’s Redness! Pleased to meet you, sweetie. How many times have I asked Merry “How’s Redness?”. By the way, it’s very rare to have a FEMALE orange tabby. They are usually male (not sure of the percentage, but it’s up there in the 90s).
