Blue Sky on a Cloudy Day

Rain all day today, dark, gloomy sky, cold too, felt like snow.

But my sugar maple is BRIGHT YELLOW and I really wanted to get a picture before all the leaves fall to the ground.

So I simulated sunshine with my off-camera light (thanks to umbrella-man-Bradley).

A funny thing happened. The dark gray sky came out BLUE in the pictures! Yay! It made me SO happy!

:D

Plus, my mom arrives tonight on the train! Can’t wait to see you, mom!

  1. Beautiful Fall Images Julie! In Colorado (at 9,200 feet elebation) our fall colors are very limited…..so this is a beautiful reminder of the rest of the country’s colors! Thank You!
