for Kevin and Krista’s mini session in Central Park.
Be sure to turn up the sound. When the slide show is finished, it will jump back here where you can answer a tree-related contest question and win them an 8×10 print. Have fun!

A good way to get a baby to look in the general direction of the camera, besides a beeping bright red Elmo hat, is to experiment with the various rings on your cell phone. That is no easy task while holding a rather large and heavy camera.

But it can be done.

I love the composition of this shot. This is one of the reasons I love shooting in the park — really great benches!

Shooting with a waterfall in the background is a great idea too, except for the notion that the baby would much rather look at the waterfall than at my boring old camera.

So, we’ll just take a quick nap while mom and dad stroll.

HERE’S THE CONTEST QUESTION
Name four types of trees in Central Park that are thought to be heritage trees, or, trees that might have been living there before the land was set aside for park use in 1853.

By this point, my new little friend decided that my camera wasn’t so scary after all. He wanted to take some pictures! Yay!
Enjoy your little mini-slide show, Kevin and Krista! I look forward to working with you again when we have more time together!
Peace and happy Thanksgiving!
