This Is the Dream

for Tracey and Mike’s family session.
When the show is finished it will jump back here where you can answer a tree-related contest question to win the family an 8×10 print. Have fun!
In the picture above, the youngest child is featured. I was a youngest child and there are very few pictures of me, so I tend to make sure the youngest is well covered!
(No offense, mom.)

Love the attitude. So cool.

I’m not sure if this qualifies as a signature “un-portrait” but I love it!

This one cracks me up. Look at Mike’s face!

“Let me in, mom and dad!” (Classic.)

You know I love it when I manage to get kids to cooperate in the extreme close up shots!

I was very happy because these guys were very cooperative! Yay!

I am always on the lookout for a spontaneous mother-son moment.

I love shots that show basic everyday activities as simple as pulling a shirt over a child’s head. They grow up so fast.

Love the colors in this one, and there’s something strangely symbolic too.

Ok, here’s an unportrait you can’t get at the mall. I love the simplicity of the image, but in reality it was like pulling teeth to get everybody to sit still for a second!

HERE’S THE CONTEST QUESTION
What kind of tree is that?
(Hint: It’s one of my all-time favorite kinds in the entire world and I’m so jealous that Tracey and Mike have one in their back yard. I need a bigger yard.)
Tracey and Mike, I had so much fun with you and your family that day!
THANK YOU!

Absolutely amazing! How do you do it Julie? You are incredible. The song does sound strangely familiar…. ha ha!

I knew you’d say that about the song, Stacey. I had another song all picked out but Tracey really liked yours. I’m saving that other song for next time, Tracey!

Kathryn!
You are RIGHT! Thanks for commenting and checking out my blog! I LOVE that kind of tree. Beech trees are gorgeous and long-lived. My perfect tree. Tracey and Mike, be sure to thank Kathryn for the extra print credit I put in your gallery today!

Beautiful things appear each time I enter your blog. While I cannot study them in detail, the overall impression I get is that you are a most talented mamarazzi in every respect. Congratulations and love.
