My Wish For You

Click the picture
— or click here —
for Janet and Victor’s family session.

When the show is finished it will jump back here where you can answer a tree-related contest question to win the family an 8×10 print. Have fun!

Above, don’t you just want to put that one in a frame even if you don’t know him? He looks so happy!

It was his birthday! Happy birthday!

I love pictures of dads playing with their children!

Here’s another one!

I love it during a photo shoot when the child finally relaxes with me and just stares into the camera with a natural smile and a natural lean on the arm. So perfect and unposed.

SERIOUSLY unposed! I love this one!

I told my mom that this one is like one of those pictures in a store-bought frame. I wish everybody had pictures like this.

My signature un-portrait! Yay!

I love how the black tones are so rich in this picture.

I spent a few minutes doing semi-standard head-shots. I love how this one came out. The breeze was absolutely perfect for Janet’s hair! Thanks Janet!

TODAY’S CONTEST QUESTION

For serious blog praise and a print in your name for this family, name the kind of tree in my yard that is still covered with leaves. I’ll give you a hint. It’s not a maple. Have fun!

  1. It’s gotta be the dogwood!

  2. Hey Jeff! By the way, my October Glory still has a few leaves, but not many.

And no, it’s not the dogwood. Keep guessing! :D

  3. Jules, I know some Beech trees hold their brown leaves all winter, so it’s either that or one of your pear trees. I don’t know if that would qualify though. I’ll guess the Bradford pear.

My Kousa Dogwood still has most of its’ wine colored leaves. The October Glory, about 30%.

  4. Ok, I’m now guessing the Beech :)
