DESIGN 3: BACK
Specs: Horizontal 5×5 tri-fold card on archival linen with the inside design spanning the inside spread, folded in thirds.

What I love about this design — I designed this card with a clear blue background because I dream of blue skies for this family. The clean lines compliment their minimalist style, and the snowflakes compliment stenciling created by the children’s grandmother in their rooms. I especially love the front design of this card with just a picture of hand-holding. To me, that’s what the holidays are all about, hand-holding being the simplest way to show affection, especially between mother and child when part of the reason for hand-holding is to guide and protect.

My family calls me "the mamarazzi."
The photographer definitely captured something special with these cards. Beautiful angles and design.
This card was gorgeous! The layering of the photos gave it a depth that mdae you feel like you were seeing even more of the famiily. I also loved that it was a holiday card done in a non-traditional holiday color.
When I received this card it brought tears to my eyes. I could not imagine a nicer Christmas card for this family. It captured the essence of this family and is a tribute to what makes them special. Beautiful pictures and design make this a card I will never forget.
I absolutely love the pictures featured on this card (#3). It is wonderful how you were able to fit many pictures on one card. I also think it is a terrific idea putting the children’s ages on the back of the card.
This card is a wow! The design is unique and attractive. It is really eye pleasing. It evokes the joy and the spirit of a loving family. Well done!

I found that in order to offer a comment…I actually had to go and get this card and hold it in my hands. Once again I felt the warmth surrounding this Christmas Gift. Julie your creativity is remarkably complex as it portrays this very special family. The card is magical and it brings me a bright, joyous and ever-hopeful Christmas memory. I don’t know the family but LOVE these cards….I think it’s the background color in contrast with the beautiful photos….so clean & beautiful & the background accents the photos rather than taking away from them as many card designs do! Great Work!
