What I love about this design — I love all the different colors on the front, in particular, the hats, but more than that, I love how the faces show so many different expressions. I think it’s cool that mom and dad made it on the front of the card as well. I get so many comments from people who have been a recipient of one of my cards saying how much they loved seeing the entire family in the presentation. I really like the inside design too though. The string of lights drapes through the design, giving it a nice Christmassy feeling, and when combined with that adorable photograph of the children smiling at each other, it’s just priceless. The family photo on the back is one of my faves too. (See it big in the “family” gallery of my main photography site.)

  1. “let joy surround you all year”…the inside of the card refelcts the whole card. The entire card with its many candids surrounds the warm wishes extended to friends and family who received this card. I love the front of the card. The lacy snowflakes and the earthy wintery feel. Beautiful Family

  2. I love the way you did the background on the inside spread. On a lot of the other cards, you had photos in the background. I really like the way you did the holiday images in the background. It really put the focus on the images of the kids. And it added a holiday feel - a nice touch.

  3. Knowing Janet & Vic and their children as well as I do - - they come alive in this card and these photos. What a beautiful and realistic portrayal of a very happy family!!!

  5. The pictures are nice but what I really like about this card is the understated, um, how do I put this so it sounds like a compliment? Um, understated festiveness. It’s a Christmas card, for sure, but it’s so subtle that you can leave it out all year. I love that you don’t use bright primary colors like RED and GREEN for your backgrounds.
