What a wonderful design Julie. I have really enjoyed reading about all the design and your thought process behind each. Do you do a custom design for each of your clients?

Hi Dennis, Julie here -- YES! Every card client gets a custom design! I LOVE designing cards! My goal for 2008 is to convince my clients to also do a batch of thank you cards with their images on the design because once I started making custom thank you cards for my own stuff, I found that I LOVED sending people thank you cards! And it's a good thing to send personal snail-mail thank you cards. Who doesn't like getting a pretty card in the mail? Thanks for the comment! —jws

Julie,
I have loved all the designs. It was so much fun reading about how you think, it is what makes your photography so interesting, your thoughts come across in your photos. What great expression and creativity! What a great way to view life!
Thanks and I LOVED our card this year!!! Can't wait til next year, and I'm in on the thank-you's!

Julie,
Someone commented to me that the back shot felt like we were strolling down a street in Paris. Feels timeless to me!

I love the inside photo where the boy is looking at his parents. It is really a card or photo that could be kept up all year and even framed. Just think each card you put up is better and better..

I definitely like the movement in this card. I love how the boy is making his way around on the front and then I feel like we see the next shot on the inside with him still moving around. The perspective on the inside is great with them walking from far away. The movement is that card really gives it a dynamic feel.

Julie, do you have a way, like an album or something, for people to put their card designs in? I can see people doing a card with you every year and building quite an impressive album over the years. This card, in particular, makes me think of that because of the image on the front and the little boy's name and the year underneath. It's just such a beautiful celebration of life and family! CHEERS TO YOU!

You guys are so sweet with all your great comments, but you do realize that to be in the contest, you don't necessarily have to say something NICE! :) But I love that you do!

Judy, you are so sweet. I think of that Central park picture as having a Paris feel too. I love that shot. There's something uniquely romantic about your card. Hmmmm. I love that.

Dear Julie

Yes the pictures are beautiful on the card. They
are nothing like I have ever seen before.

What I love about them is they don't appear to
be just pictures. You have the talent of making
the lenz part of the family. I get sense of who
they are as well as the sheer joy of the moment.

Thats whats life is about isn't it...the moment.

You have captured this family like I have never
seen before.

I have this card in my home. It makes people smile
when they look at it.

It is beautiful in everyway. I am sure the family
will enjoy the shots for years to come. I know
i will enjoy looking at it as well
