Guys and Dolls in One Minute

-
This is Wally’s senior year, and his last year performing with his younger sister, Sammie, in the high school productions. I’ve known Wally and Sammie for many years, watched them grow up, so seeing both of them performing with such skill, grace and maturity was a bit shocking, and quite endearing too. The whole cast did an excellent job!
As a gift to Sammie and Wally, here’s a little one minute slide show. The final photograph in the show, taken as the lights were dimming for the last time, is my absolute favorite.
Turn up the sound, click here, and enjoy the show!

i love it! thankyou so much, all those pictures are amazing i’m sure that rest of the cast would love so see it! i’ll definately send them a link, many thanks!,

Amazing! Thank you so much for positng/sharing the photos. I knew Wally when he used to sleep in a show trunk in his parents apartment in Manhattan Plaza, where all the show people lived once upon a time.

Outstanding!
I love seeing your work, and this is such a great way for the cast and their families to savor the moment a little longer.
Great job Sammie and Wally

Hi Julie,
I just sent you a couple of cell phone pics of my dogwoods. I took some pictures on my “real” camera but can’t figure out how to download them.
I LOVE your website. You are a gifted photographer. Thanks for sharing.

Ah, Jules, what a gift you have. It was indeed moving to see Sammie and Wally perform together–so well in such a great show with such a terrific cast. As usual, you captured the soul of the moments, the energy of the kids–how lucky our town is to have you to chronicle the wonder years of our children.

Thank you so much for taking these. I tried to get as many good pictures as I could, but I was on stage quite frequently (I played Nicely-Nicely) so these pictures really brightened up my day. And yes, the last picture is the best. As a senior, it really touched me. Thanks again, and nice work.
