    DESIGN 1: BACK
Specs: Vertical 5×7 card on archival linen with the inside design spanning the inside spread, folded in the middle.

What I love about this design — Jack looks like a movie star on the front in his dashing duds! Turn to the inside and wow! What a unique card that SO realistically captures what Jack is all about these days — exploring! I took these shots at Jack’s uncle’s wedding. And on the back, Jack is defined yet again by his pacifier, his blankie, his grandfather and another uncle and a cousin, and yet, there’s that tux again. I love a card that tells a good visual story.

I always love your pics of Jack. All dressed up in a tux like a grown-up is especially appealing. It’s celebratory and is indicative of the New Year.

The inside shot is so creative on your part; it really shows that he has a mind of his own (already!) and will be someone who goes his own way. Hey, if you want to follow along, you’re welcome to, but you’re really not going to stop him…

Don’t know what card designs will follow but I’ll bet this stays my favorite!

You artistry really captures the joy of Mike & Jen’s special day. Our little Jack stepped out in sytle and with gusto! A beautiful composition for a beautiful extended family. This is a card we will treasure as a family keepsake.

I love this card! We weren’t sure Jack would walk down the aisle at the wedding, but he did and you captured him perfectly. The inside picture is awesome. If I had taken this picture, I probably would have zeroed in on Ryan and Jack only, but somehow, you got Katie looking on at her two loves – it’s perfect! Our whole family was looking forward to this year’s card. They didn’t think you could top last years’s, but I think you did. Thanks for capturing this little family so well.

I was lucky enough to be a part of this day. I think little Jack got as much attention as the bride and groom, what a munchkin. The card captured moments from a fantastic day, great job as usual Julie. The back of the card is superb how you captured so many family members in one great shot. Love it, love it, love it!!!

the center spread says it all — the little man is an explorer! thanks for recognizing the potential of what ordinary photographers night regard as just a snapshot.

  6. Katie says:

Julie, you captured my family perfectly in this card! Jack is a handsome little man always on the go, go, go… It’s too bad he passed out before the chicken dance! :)

Thanks again for such a beautiful and one of a kind card!

I love that card, Katie!! Thanks! — jws

Nothing cuter than a little boy all dressed up. Wonderful New Years Card…formal yet hopeful for the future.

  8. Laura says:

Beautiful card and an adorable boy! I love the feeling of motion on the inside of the card – stunning!

  9. Jackie says:

Amazing how clothes can make little ones look so grown up. I met Jack as Jack in the box on his first Halloween. Look at him now.

  10. Gorgeous as always Jules! What a cutie pie he is in his tux!

  11. JNC says:

I like the way he looks like he’s ‘walking the red carpet’ on the front! And it’s so nice to see extended family involve in a card. Says something about how close th family is…beatiful images!

This is a unique card. I was lucky enough to get one-Jack is our neighbor. I love the front of this card. You captured Jack’s cute little personality. I love the classic black & white look, with a bold colored font. The inside is a beautiful crisp white. Katie, Ryan and Jack pop out. I love that he is walking around like owns the place : ). Fanastic card!!

  13. Mary says:

Wow, can that little guy rock a tux or what? This is such a unique design — the inside picture isn’t a classic “card” shot, but that’s part of what makes it so stunning.
