A Perfectly Rainy Day at the Farm

- The setting for her birthday party was a farm.

- Rescheduling was not an option.

- …when given rain…

- …make the most of it!

- There were a few minutes here and there when the rain slowed to a drizzle, long enough to get some colorful shots of the family.

- Birthday Girl didn’t seem to mind the rain!

- I think she loved it!
Â
- I think her daddy had a good time too.

- Inside the barn, there was lots of food and cake and games.
Â
- What a beautiful family!

- Her cousin took a walk in the pumpkin patch. I love this foggy picture. It’s a classic, for sure.

Julie- this picture of the boy in the pumpkin patch is one of the BEST I’ve seen you do. There’s something about the fog, the struggle of carrying something heavy, and the lonliness of the landscape which really makes it a piece of art. The boy in the center with his rain gear really pops. PHENOMINAL work!
Omigod! The cousin in the pumpkin patch wants to be a greeting card or a poster or something……
I LOVE IT! But then I’m an October baby too!–assuming October because of the pumpkins : )

That’s Alsteade Farm in Chester. Beautiful place, too. Once you’re way back in the party area where the barn is, you’d never know you were still in crowded New Jersey. Look around and all you can see is beautiful rolling hills and farmland. Just gorgeous. — jws
