This Is Tokyoman

City of Nouns: Julie Walton Shaver Lifestyle Photography Tokyoman at home This Is Tokyoman

I’m off on my grand adventure to Japan today documenting Beth and Rich’s home and friends in Tokyo!

    Woo hoo!

G-rex gave me the Lego dude above, which he named “Tokyoman.” It is not pronounced like you think though. You have to say it in 3 syllables, not 4, like this: “TOKE-yo-mohn.” We figured that if I carry Tokyoman around with me on my adventures, and take pictures of him wherever I go, G-rex would be able to experience my trip from the perspective of the Lego dude. So, Tokyoman is in my pocket and off we go. I love you, G-rex!

Sounds like a modern version of “Flat Stanley”. We took him with us to London one time.

Love when kids do stuff like Tokyoman! Have a great trip!
