- DESIGN 15: BACK
- Specs: Vertical 5×7 card on archival linen with the inside design spanning the inside spread, folded in the middle.
What I love about this design — This family liked a design I had done for a client in 2007, and specifically wanted the same or a similar cover. It was fun and challenging for me to use the same basic colors and graphic elements but still find ways to make the card unique to this family. The inside spread does that for sure! The picture on the right side would perfectly fit in a 5×7 frame. I love that! But I also love the subtle image in the background on the left of the little boy inspecting whatever that is on the ground. Pictures like that capture so much of what a child that age is up to, and so it’s nice to use it as a subtle background image.
The back is awesome too. This card has a total of EIGHT pictures on it! Grandma and Grandpa had to love receiving it. That makes me happy.
