I took this on Easter Sunday in Metuchen. The pear tree hadn’t quite reached full blossom yet. Since I’m in Japan, I’m missing spring back home.

I took this one on Easter too. That’s my Japanese red maple. I’m betting that by the time this post publishes itself (don’t you love advance publishing!), I will have seen my very first Japanese red maple IN Japan!

Mr. Keller was complaining that I wouldn’t be putting up pictures of the blossoms this year. Here you go, Brad. Sorry it’s a pear and not a dogwood. There’s always the possibility the dogwood will still be blossoming when I get back.

Cool thing was: the cherry blossoms started blooming here right about the time I got back! I got a whole month of cherry blossoms!

Thanks Julie. It wouldn’t be spring without at least a few of your tree-blossom pictures. Hopefully some of the blossoms will still be here when you get back. Have a great trip.
