What I love about this design — Bernadette’s painting on the front of this card is simply beautiful. And to think that this family got a Christmas card of their very own with a custom painting on the front by a respected artist — there’s something about that to me that is so incredibly special. I hope the people who received this card appreciated the art and talent behind it! Bernadette is fantastic! In the original design, the boys’ names were superimposed into their images, removed here for privacy, but that was totally cool too!

While I love the cover, the card just keeps getting better with each turn. As you open the inside, you are treated to a beautiful image of family fun and the expressions of pure joy on the boys’ faces. Couple that with the message about joy being yours throughout the year, and it just WORKS! Yay! I also love the little inset family picture because the mom is an expert professional scrapbooker, and this is a snapshot of her family looking through a scrapbook. How cool is that?

And it isn’t over yet! Turn to the back and there’s this super sweet picture of what we call in my family a “family hug.” And the walking shot, incidentally, has since been made into a gorgeous canvas hanging on this family’s wall. I love being a part of people’s family memories!

Absolutely beautiful card and beautiful pictures – nothing formal; just the everyday love that families share captured in photos.

This was definitely one of the best cards we received EVER! I was so delighted to open up and see the pictures inside too and over the moon to see the one on the back – Moms never get in the picture and this is a great one of Laura as the center of attention!

  5. Mary says:

There’s so much packed in here! Any of these images would make a great card, but all together you can really see what a loving and fun-loving family they are!

This is so unique – nothing like I have seen before. It’s so unique, but also I love the simplicity of it. It’s a family doing ordinary everyday things, but the joy that is captured in these photos – so special! Is there anyone in Texas that does this type of ART? Thanks for sharing this wonderful card.
