Full size of the inside of the card: 10 inches wide by 7 inches tall. This is the thank you card from Alison and Rob’s wedding.

    DESIGN 17: BACK
Specs: Vertical 5×7 card on archival linen with the inside design spanning the inside spread, folded in the middle.

What I love about this design — The warm colors capture the warmth of summer, a welcome gift for a card that people generally received in winter. I also like the simple beauty of the inside spread (with plenty of room for writing). Alison and Rob are so graceful together, and it really shows in their images. The best part though is that the image on the right is sized so that close friends and family may put the card in a 5×7 frame if they wish. I love it when a card doubles as the gift of a beautiful full-size and framable print!

    Julie,

I always think it’s “way cool” when folks are able to combine function and design. You certainly achieved this goal with design 17.

On a regular basis I present for folks who are seeking employment. While some professionals chose to work with the CEO’s, Upper level leadership teams most of my career has been focused upon the “highly impacted.”

Sometimes the adults in my class, tease me about how often and how much emphasis I place on sending thank you notes. Just today a gentleman who was in a previous class stopped outside the parking lot where I teach to tell me about the results he is obtaining with his thank you notes.

He told me he “didn’t think sending a thank you note was a very manly thing to do but since he trusted me he decided to send a few.” He did report he recently had sent thank you notes after general meetings with various folks. It’s exciting to learn he credits two very positive business results he gained to the action he took when he sent his thank you notes.

Have you ever considered having a line of postcards too! I would love to have a custom postcard designed to send after I give a Keynote presentations.

    Good Ink Julie!

    Sincerely,
    Lisa
