I have three huge oaks in front of my house. They are probably older than the house which dates from 1885, and are on city right-of-way. One of the parks and recreation managers was by the other day to look at some rotten limbs I had noticed and called about. I was delighted when he reported that they would have to be careful not to take off more than was warranted or the tree commission people would be on his case.
