That works are awesome! For some photographer, it’s not that easy to take very nice and informative pictures like this under the rain. But you did it very well! So good to see that droplets on the leaves very clear. You really had fun celebrating your birthday by taking those pictures. And by the way thank you for sharing your tips on how to take pictures during rainy day without getting wet on the lens. I know I can use those tips someday when I got my own camera!

Jules:

These are outstanding. Hard to pick a favourite. I bet you could make notecards or a coffee table book out of these and they would sell well. Or sell them to a stock library? Anyhow, just some ideas!!

It was great chatting with you!

Love,
Deb

These are beautiful. I love the closeups of the droplets. I do wish it would stop raining though.

Hope you had a great birthday Julie! I would love to head out in the rain, but it hasn't really rained much in So Cal as of late. I'm actually thinking of developing an umbrella that attaches to the hot shoe. ;)

Julie, I just loved your rainy day photographs. I love walking in the rain in general, and am sorry I missed the chance to walk with you Thursday (I would have held the umbrella!:). But while you were photographing in the rain, I was walking from Central Park to Penn Station, umbrella-less, enjoying the sights and the sounds . . . but not necessarily the noice! Have a wonderful year!
