Wow Julie..I am speechless and have tears in my eyes, watching your photo journey. You are an artist not just ordinary artist, but I can feel the Spirit with you when you took those pictures. You express the beauty of God Creation, not just the nature, but the culture, the technology and the things the humankind build. You are a story teller, you bring me and the people to experience Japan, and to Awe..God Creation. Thank you for always taking me with you in your journey, and I always “Praise the Lord”, we have you to bring God Creation in our fingers tips and always to deeper our faith-Trusting the lord more. How can we not have more faith to see “God Beautiful Creation, of the people, culture and the civilization? Julie thank you…thanks for you’re a wonderful eyes and inspiration. Always Love You. Mercy

That's an awesome comment, Adam. I would love to see pictures of my old elementary school in SC. I never seem to get back there. In fact, I think it's been demolished by now, or turned into a library or something.

I have more pictures of ASIJ coming later!

That image of the inner circle at the ASIJ elementary school really made me homesick. Both of my parents taught there (Dad -- 6th, Mom -- Art) and I spent countless hours playing between the trees and rocks. And pushing people on chairs (with casters) around and around the circle. I never thought about the relationship of where things were placed. It was just fun for hide-and-seek.
