These six boys belong to two Villanova families. I think it’s safe to say they’re all wildcat fans. The moms and dads went to college together, and still hang out and get together very often for family vacations and other gathering. I love that!
Lots more pictures below.

I love this one!

If you’re a regular blog reader, you might remember this family. They get together regularly with the family below…

… at vacation homes in Stone Harbor.

The parents brought me to the shore to document the family vacation for the boys, ages 5 through 10.

Later in the day, the parents and I went out to the beach for some quick couple shots in pretty light.

Love this one on so many levels — the reflection, the light, the water, the wind, but what I like most about it is how my couple is so into each other.

My mantra for the day was to shoot the kids, but I couldn’t let the opportunity pass by to get a nice picture of these close friends.

It’s so great that the boys are growing up having these awesome extended play dates! I love this picture!

Parents against the kids in a volleyball-with-a-kickball game.

I think the kids won.

Always a good idea to throw in a little dancing.

Check out the flying sand! These boys really get into playing some serious ball!

It’s not so easy to get all six boys in one shot. One of the boys didn’t really want to play, so it took some convincing to get him on the field.

In this case, we went to Springer’s for ice cream, but there was one boy who didn’t want ice cream.

He preferred M&Ms.

With a pool in the back, the house was great! These boys are twins. I love this picture.

That’s their older brother.

FAVE!

Once one boy was being tossed, all the boys wanted to be tossed.

I realized that those matching bathing suits didn’t make it easy for me to make sure I got a shot of each boy being tossed, especially when it came to the twins. It was so hard for me to tell them apart, especially once the goggles came off.

The dads must have been so sore that night from all the throwing!

Air!

I tried to get a shot of the brothers jumping in together. These guys gave me one chance before they were off in their own directions.

The other brothers gave me several chances. This one was my favorite.

Later we went to the beach.

I have a shot just like this of Bradley at about that age that I still love.

Major fave!

Another major fave!

Beaches are great for getting action shots.

I love how these families are so passionate about sports. Check out that great effort to get the ball!

Another awesome wave-running shot.

Love this shot because my brain automatically advances to the next frame. Yikes!

Love the reflection on this beach. Stone Harbor is a great place for pictures! I think it’s possible I’ve found my favorite New Jersey beach town!

The sky was so beautiful that day.

Love this mother/son shot.

Back at the house, more swimming.

The entire group, from a fly-on-the-wall perspective. Love this shot!
To my wonderful families: Thanks again for the great day! I know it’s been a while since the summer vacation, but with my computer crash and all the catching up I had to do after I got a new computer set up, I hope you love your slide show as much as I do!
Sometimes I wish I could go back in time, be a fly on the wall, when I was little....
It may rain tomorrow, but today, it's a beautiful day. Time to do nothing but play....
From football to Christmas cookies: a family shoot that makes me want sugar cookies!...
Wow… these are just amazing! Absolutely beautiful captures of such gorgeous kids. Sharp, vibrant and brimming with the sheer exuberance of energetic little boys. Inspirational work Julie!
What a great vacation! I know they will cherish these pictures. You did a great job capturing the “boy-energy”.
Julie,
The pictures are awesome, I felt like I was on vacation with them. The children are beautiful and full of life. Your work is fabulous!
Their Loving Grandma Nett
Julie, we love the pictures! The boys went crazy when they heard the song and I still have tears in my eyes. We are blessed with great friends and you were able to capture the joy that Stone Harbor brings to us. Thank you!!
Julie – Once again we are overwhelmed. Eye of the Tiger – the boys were so excited. It is just what we wanted to capture our kids and Stone Harbor forever in our memories. The six with their Villanova shirts will be up on the wall as soon as possible. Thanks!!!! – V
OK, best family vacation pictures EVER! I love that there are so many boys and that they are all so close in age. I imagine that the parents loved being able to just relax and have fun, knowing that you were capturing so many great memories for them!
