This is what it looked like out my window first thing this morning.
More pictures below!—>

Here’s the wide angle view. For tree fans, left to right: October Glory red maple, two Bradford pears, and arborvitae under the maple. The arbs are going to take a beating with all this heavy snow. I’ll have to go out later and shake some of the snow off or else they’ll be misshapen forever.

The fence is actually the railing atop our garage. It will be interesting to get this shot later today or tomorrow morning to see how much deeper the snow gets. That’s the Red Sunset red maple.

The front yard, wide angle view. It’s pretty nice sometimes to live on Main Street because our street is always one of the first to be plowed. Trees from left: Greenspire linden, in the middle, the Japanese red maple, and on the right side of the driveway, the Aristocrat pear.

The dogwood is right outside the window.

I fear that the wet snow is going to cause a lot of branches to fall around Metuchen.

That dogwood tree has given me so much joy over the years. Isn’t she pretty?

We closed our eyes and thought about how excited we would have been if it were snowing on the first day of winter....
With my email down, I have plenty of time to take pictures of my trees, and something pretty to post along with the message that my email is...
Jack: “Awesome!!!!!!”
That about sums it up! I’m so jealous right now. It’s cold and rainy here…would much rather prefer some white stuff on the ground. Have a great day Jules and Co.
Beautiful! I don’t miss a whole lot of winter, but I do miss lovely snowy days like this.
