Diane has been wanting to do a lifestyle photo shoot with her family for years, but has been waiting until the renovation of her home was mostly complete. I love the picture above! See below for more images from this beautiful renovation.

The new kitchen is beautiful!

What a beautiful family. If you’d like to see their slide show, leave a comment or send me a message.

Their puppy is so sweet, but what I really love about this picture is the angles, the colors and that gorgeous custom rug.

This is a cool shot of that puppy. He was so calm. He’d stand still just about anywhere I wanted him to!

I love this headshot of their daughter.

Everybody got a headshot. I like to do those at photoshoots for all the adults, just in case they might need it for something later on.

What a great smile V has.

I don’t remember what they were doing in this shot, but I love it! So fun and playful.

Diane and her daughter made homemade granola bars while I was there. They were delicious! But what I loved most of all was that Diane and V carefully read my “Family Lifestyle Photo Session Tipsheet” and had butter pecan ice cream for me for the end of our shoot! That was so thoughtful! Thank you AGAIN for thinking of me and being so kind!

All the granola bar ingredients were natural and good for you. Very yummy!

The entire renovation was stunning.

We got some great shots in the backyard too.

That red dog toy was important to capture while I was there.

The front of the house got a makeover too. Love the front porch.

She loves her puppy.

But this one is definitely one of my favorites from the shoot because I know Diane will love this shot of her and her daughter!

We were blessed with perfect weather and gorgeous light for our afternoon session.

It’s always fun to take a walk down the street where you live during your photo shoot. That will be a nice image to look back on 15 years from now.

If you’re a blog follower at all, you know I love hand-holding shots, which is why I always advise my photo clients to get manicures before the shoot.

This is my favorite father/daughter picture for sure!

One of the benefits of living in a cul-de-sac is that there’s no traffic to interfere with our photo shoot.

Another sweet mother/daughter hand-holding picture.

What a great family picture in front of their backyard pool.

I wish I had pictures of my room when I was a 13-year-old girl.

What I love about this picture is the teddy bear in the background, the beautiful light and the words you can see in the magazine that define the time. It’s hard to see in this little blog image, but she’s looking at an article or ad that has a big “Twitter” in the headline. I wonder if Twitter will be a faint memory 15 or 30 years from now. I’m betting so.

Cute turtle. He’s been a family member for many years.

The day before their shoot, they went to a wedding, so we thought it would be fun to get a few dressed-up shots in their wedding clothes.

Beautiful! Diane, I hope the wait for the family session was worth it! The house looks almost as gorgeous as you and your beautiful family!
All Chrissy really wanted at her second shoot was a good picture of her with her two daughters....
From the Army/Navy Store to American Girl Place, this was a family session of contrasts....
Ahhhh Jules!!! Your photographs make me so happy!
Thank you, Zak. You are so sweet to post comments in my blog! Big hug from leafy New Jersey!
Julie, I love this family shoot. What a lovely family.
Thanks, Jennifer. I agree!
