Definition of ‘Footlighter’: Family
The MHS Footlighters’ Production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee was so fun! Leave a comment and I’ll send you the link to the hilarious, tear-jerker of a slide show featuring clips from the Senior Speeches. The show was funny and clever. As with all the Footlighters’ productions, my whole family loved it!
There were two different ensembles for this production because so many students want to be a part of the group.
But to be totally honest, my favorite part of the night was photographing the Senior Speeches. By far, the theme of the night, from each of the seniors that spoke, was that being a member of Footlighters, the drama club at Metuchen High School, means having a second family.
All the singers and actors did a great job.
The kids never really give me enough time to get shots of their bows!
One of my favorite things about Footlighters — prop room.
By the time Mariah gave her senior speech, the whole room was bawling.
We’ll miss all the seniors next year!
The pit band did a great job too!
So professional.
